Project story
The study responded to post-pandemic changes in ridership, customer needs, operations, funding, and state-of-good-repair requirements. Fairpointe's data and engagement work helped the project team compare flexible, forward-looking service and investment scenarios.
Fairpointe developed and implemented the engagement plan, including multiple survey rounds, social media management, public and online meetings, and outreach along the 30-mile corridor. Findings were organized and communicated to WeGo leadership to refine the final recommendations.
A long-term strategy shaped by current and potential riders' perceptions, needs, and support for alternative investment scenarios.
