Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure
Location
Nashville, Tennessee
Duration
January 2022 - March 2024
Project staff facilitate an East Nashville Spokes open house around neighborhood maps and activity tables.

Project story

The project advances safer walking, biking, rolling, transit, and roadway connections along Woodland and Union Streets, South 5th Street, and South 10th Street. Fairpointe created the project brand and maintained clear, consistent communication throughout design development.

Residents and stakeholders responded to proposed features through surveys, canvassing, discussions, and community meetings. Fairpointe organized the feedback so technical decisions and preferred design concepts reflected the community's priorities and day-to-day experience.

Outcome

Preferred design concepts informed by direct community input on safety, connectivity, and multimodal access.
