Project story
The work involved a deep review of regional transportation plans, safety initiatives, standards, policies, and programs. Fairpointe also drafted an online survey addressing lived experience, risk factors, safety concerns, and potential actions.
Together with technical analysis and stakeholder input, this work informed the plan's guiding principles, High Injury Network, priority locations, countermeasures, and funding opportunities.
The TPO Executive Board adopted the plan, positioning the region to pursue Safe Streets and Roads for All funding.
