Project story
The MPO's participation plan had not been updated in 15 years. Fairpointe established stakeholder and steering committees, evaluated current methods, identified new strategies, and developed practical schedules, procedures, and performance tools for equitable public involvement.
After the updated plan was adopted, Fairpointe coordinated social media outreach, transit-station events, an online survey, and hybrid meetings for the 2050 LRTP. The team compiled and analyzed feedback so the long-range plan reflected a transparent and well-documented engagement process.
