PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project involved updating the WalknBike Plan, Nashville’s sidewalk and bikeway plan, from 2017. Nashville, Tennessee is consistently and rapidly growing, which made this plan critical to residents’ well-being and quality of life. Fairpointe Planning led the public and stakeholder engagement efforts. The Fairpointe team conducted various steering committee meetings, focus groups, an online survey, and many in-person engagement opportunities.
Following these efforts, Fairpointe was responsible for communicating common themes of concerns, ideas, or needs to the project team to determine the prioritization process for sidewalks and bikeways in Nashville.
